One of the things that I like about school is that it takes my mind off a lot of bothersome issues. I like being kept busy, and constantly on the run, instead of just lazing around all day and doing pretty much nothing. So as often as I say I dislike going to school, there is definitely a positive side to it besides getting an education. So eh, might as well make the most of what I've got.

This year's been okay so far. I'm liking my classes, and most of them I find extremely interesting. My schedule is as follows: English 12 Honors, trigonometry, AP European history, journalism, anatomy and physiology, gym, AP Spanish 5, and women's studies honors. The classes I'm really digging are journalism and women's studies honors. The thing I don't particularly like about women's studies is that every girl in that class is an ardent feminist. I mean, I guess I should have expected that, considering it is women's studies after all, and the people taking it would be of a certain kind. The teacher is the biggest feminist of all, but I don't mind her too much. Feminism just annoys the heck out of me, as you can imagine. I mean, I'm all for equal rights, but people take it way too far.

Anyway, I'm just happy it's Friday. It's a pity I have my second to last class to go to tonight, but I'll live. I think. I was trying to opt out of it but my dad absolutely wants me to go, so he's going to force me. I just don't want to waste three and a half hours of my first Friday night, dammit.

I know I had said in my last entry that I'm going to be going on a break, but I still feel like updating my blog nonetheless. I certainly don't go on as often as I used to over the summer, so it's an improvement. So uhm, yes, I'm not gone completely.
